Decision
On 30 December 2020, the Committee, having been informed that the complainant had been granted permanent residence in Canada on 19 July 2019, decided to discontinue the consideration of communication No. 741/2016, on the understanding that the complainant was no longer at risk of deportation to Sri Lanka and that, therefore, the communication had become moot.
