The author of the communication is K.M., a national of Türkiye. He alleges that, by deporting him to Türkiye, the State Party would violate his rights under article 7 of the Covenant.
On 11 May 2020, the communication was registered.
On 17 July 2020, the State Party submitted its observations on the admissibility and the merits of the communication, which were transmitted to the author on 12 August 2020.
On 28 January 2022 and 5 May 2025, reminders were sent to the author to submit his comments on the State Party’s observations. The author was informed that, in the absence of a response by 7 July 2025, the communication might be discontinued.
On 16 March 2026, the Committee, in the light of the fact that it had received no response from the author, with whom it had apparently lost contact, decided to discontinue its consideration of communication No. 3750/2020.
