¶1.

The author of the communication is M.S.F., a national of Haiti born in 1990. He claimed that by deporting him to Haiti, the State Party would violate his rights under articles 6, 7, 9, 10, 23, 24 and 26 of the Covenant.

¶2.

On 19 September 2023, the communication was registered without granting the author’s request for interim measures.

¶3.

On 20 September 2023, the author informed the Committee that he wished to withdraw the communication, as his deportation had been annulled through the Federal Court.

¶4.

On 16 March 2026, the Committee, in the light of the facts that the author and the State Party had reached an agreement on the substantive issue raised in the communication and that the author was no longer at risk of deportation, and the author’s request, decided to discontinue its consideration of communication No. 4483/2023.
