On 17 February 2019, the Committee registered the communication and requested the State party to take interim measures to suspend the eviction of the author and her family pending the consideration of the communication or to provide them with adequate alternative housing, in genuine consultation with them.

At its meeting on 13 October 2020, the Committee, having noted that it had not been possible to contact the authors, decided to discontinue consideration of communication No. 111/2019, in accordance with article 17 of its provisional rules of procedure under the Optional Protocol.
