🎤 At the AHRI 2026 conference in Geneva, Michał Klichowski and I spoke on the panel “Reframing the Right to Education in International Law? A Focus on Article 13 of the ICESCR”. Our talk, “Neurotechnology and the Right to Education”, asked whether limits on the use of such technology are needed, or whether it is part of high-quality education under Article 13 ICESCR. The slides go from Gernsback’s 1925 Isolator to EEG headbands in classrooms, and compare the approaches of the Council of Europe, UNESCO and the EU AI Act.
