Paste a paragraph, a footnote block or a whole section. Every “X v. State”, application number (no. 12345/67) and “X, cited above” is resolved against the Court's judgments; a pinpointed paragraph is checked to exist, and a quotation is compared word by word with the judgment. A wrong name for a real application number, a [GC] that is not a Grand Chamber judgment, a Chamber judgment later decided by the Grand Chamber and invented references are flagged. Your text stays in this browser: only the identifiers of the cited judgments are sent.
The corpus holds the Court's judgments in English (judgments, not decisions); judgments that HUDOC publishes only in French are recognised but cannot be checked here. A citation marked “found” has been matched, not proofread: open the judgment on HUDOC before you rely on it.
